State of the art building. Friendly staff and faculty. As a postgraduate student I would like to highlight that the faculty have extensive experience in the industry along with academia. This always helps elevate the learning experience
I was very disappointed with my experience in Dr. Rana El-Dabaa's classes in Architecture program. I found her teaching to be significantly below the expected academic standard. The level of knowledge and academic depth presented in the course appears insufficient for a university level education. The lectures often lack clarity, structure, which makes it difficult for students to grasp the fundamental ideas of the course. Overall, the instructor’s academic delivery does not reflect a strong command of the subject matter at the level required for higher education. In addition, the her English proficiency appears limited for teaching in an English medium academic environment, which further affects the clarity and effectiveness of communication. I have also observed discrimination in the level of attention, explanation, and feedback provided in the classroom, which may create a perception of unequal treatment among students. Given the tuition fees and academic expectations, I strongly believe the university should review the teaching standards of this course and ensure that faculty members demonstrate both sufficient subject expertise and a high level of English proficiency and scientific knowledge.
I was disappointed with the communication from this university. Education is not limited by age, and my past circumstances were not fully considered. Replies should focus on a student’s motivation to continue their studies rather than their age. Many other high-standard universities provide much better support to students.
