Murdoch University Dubai became more than just a university for me — it became a place where I learned, grew, met amazing people, and created memories I’ll always carry with me. As a Filipino student in Dubai, I can genuinely say that Murdoch offers quality education while still being one of the more affordable universities here in the UAE. What I also liked is that they offer double major undergraduate degrees across Business, Criminology, Psychology, Communication, and IT, and some programs can even be completed in as little as two years (just like I did). I have finished my undergraduate degree in Accounting and Finance there, and now I’m also doing my MBA there, which really says a lot about how much I enjoyed my experience as a student. What made my university journey memorable wasn’t just the academics, but also the people and experiences. I became part of the Student Leadership Team during my undergraduate years, and that opened so many opportunities for me to join campus events, volunteer activities, and meet students from different cultures and backgrounds. One of the proudest moments of my journey was graduating as the Murdoch Business School Class of 2025 Valedictorian. Looking back, I’m really grateful for all the support, experiences, and friendships I gained throughout the years.

I completed my Bachelor of Information Technology in Cyber Security and Forensics from Murdoch University Dubai and it was an excellent experience overall. The course content is comprehensive covering everything from programming, computer systems, networking, databases and discrete mathematics to cybersecurity, digital forensics, GRC frameworks and even electives like marketing and business intelligence. The curriculum is well aligned with industry standards and it is genuinely helping me in my professional career today as I secured a role in cybersecurity even before my final exams. The professors at Murdoch Dubai are highly professional, knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile to help students understand concepts beyond just the theory. They make sure you can apply what you learn in real world scenarios which makes a significant difference. The student services team is equally supportive and was always there throughout the journey. Even though my specialisation was cybersecurity I got exposure to a wide variety of subjects and that well rounded foundation has been invaluable. I would strongly recommend Murdoch University Dubai to anyone considering IT or cybersecurity. It was absolutely worth it .

I took ICF, ACC exam this weekend at Murdoch University and I have to say the experience was very good! I want to thank the team on the ground for being so professional and respectful. With many options to choose from the Pearson Vue website, and a few that were locations closer to my residence, I'm glad I chose this one. I called Murdoch a few weeks ago to get details and the person on the phone (I think it was Jay), was so helpful and welcoming. I asked if I could visit to check it out in advance so as not to be stressed on exam day. When I did, he showed me the exam room and walked me through the entire security and check-in process. I felt so at ease knowing what to expect. On exam day itself, the team was there to welcome all exam applicants, and explain the steps to complete. Everyone was polite, respectful. The proctor was clear with her instructions and very accommodating. Once I started the timed exam, I found the screen was too high and the team immediately arranged for an IT person to come and adjust it for me. The room was quite, no disturbance or distractions (it was a 2.5hr exam!). Water and tissues made available, even ear plugs which was great! I have to say, just having a supportive group of people and knowing what to expect took away a lot of the stress that comes with giving an exam. If anyone is considering sitting a Pearson Vue exam at Murdoch University, I would highly recommend it as a very peaceful and supportive venue.
